Joe Turic Photography is based in New Paltz, New York. This location affords the flexibility
of serving the Hudson Valley, Catskills and the southern New York area.
What do you offer?
I specialize in fine art landscape and travel photography with an emphasis on the Hudson Valley Region and its environs, event photography and casual portrait sessions for all ages.
Is your photography that I see on the site available for sale? Can I order a print?
Yes. The pictures that you find in the Galleries are available for sale and can be purchased using a secure shopping cart with the order fulfillment done through Smug Mug. The prints are carried out through Bay Photo, a professional print house with over 30 years experience based in Santa Cruz, CA. Prints are made using archival inks on professional Kodak Endura papers. Depending on the shipping option you choose, prints will arrive on your doorstep very carefully packaged in a timely fashion. The entire process is seamlessly integrated in joeturic.com and should provide you with the utmost in security and satisfaction.
I'd rather have it mounted and framed. Is it possible to order directly from you?

Aren't you based in New York? Why do you print in California?
While there are indeed closer print houses, Smug Mug did some exhaustive research and concluded that Bay Photo offered the best quality prints. I also use and trust Bay Photo for my personal work.
How does a portrait session work?
Portrait sessions can involve one or more people. I prefer to work outside and photograph people in the natural environment, however each session would be based on your needs. Pricing varies and is based upon the duration of the session; details would be discussed prior to the actual shoot. Processing of the images will take anywhere from an hour to a week depending on how long the session lasts. I offer anything from quick 30 minute photo shoots to longer afternoons spent with a family. Once the images are ready for you to see, you'll be provided with a link to a gallery that is password protected. From here you can order prints as described above and have them arrive at your doorstep.
